HCC President Daria J. Willis announced a five-year partnership between NIKE and BSN Sports to serve as the exclusive apparel and equipment supplier for Dragon Athletics. HCC is the only community college in Maryland to have an exclusive long-term agreement with NIKE. “NIKE is a classic brand synonymous with tenacity, self-empowerment, and achievement,” said Dr. Willis. “These are values that our students and employees live every day." Howard Community College has received a grant from the Maryland Department of Labor’s Employment Advancement Right Now (EARN) Maryland program. The grant will fund the Central Maryland Logistics Workforce Pipeline Partnership project to transition students with disabilities into careers in the logistics industry while helping employers adopt and create more inclusive work environments.
