New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation (NSO)
New Student Orientation is required for all new students enrolling in credit courses. Over 80 percent of new students who complete an onboarding experience return the following spring, compared to 60 percent of those who do not attend an orientation program. It is also a great tool for returning students to revisit helpful information about HCC resources.
What You Will Learn
New Student Orientation will provide you with information on the following topics:
- Campus technology like myHCC, Self-Service, Canvas, student email, and more
- Important deadlines: class withdrawal, refunds, etc.
