The meeting, originally scheduled for December 10, will now be held on December 16, 2025, at 3 p.m. The rescheduled meeting will be held virtually via Zoom, with a public meeting room available in McCuan Hall, room 201/202.

The Howard Community College (HCC) Board of Trustees announces a special meeting on December 10, 2025, at 2 p.m. The meeting will be held virtually via Zoom, with a public meeting room available in McCuan Hall, room 201/202. The board will be conducting a certain portion of its meeting in closed session under the Maryland Open Meetings Act, Title 3 of the General Provisions Article 3-303 (b). The closed session will also be conducted virtually.

Howard Community College, the Community Action Council of Howard County, and Visit Howard County hosted a Community Thanksgiving Meal, bringing together more than 50 guests, including HCC students who benefited from additional support this holiday season. HCC and MedStar Health have announced a new Cardiovascular Technician (CV Tech) Registered Apprenticeship Program, launching in January 2026. Through this innovative partnership, 15 apprentices will be employed full-time by MedStar Health while completing HCC’s Cardiovascular Technology certificate program. “This program is a powerful example of what happens when higher education and industry come together to meet workforce needs,” said HCC President Daria J. Howard Community College (HCC), the Community Action Council of Howard County (CAC), and Visit Howard County are coming together to host a Community Thanksgiving Meal for invited guests on Thursday, November 27, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Kahlert Foundation Complex on HCC’s campus.
