
Campus Locks and Keys Procedure - 70.03.03
College Policy Number/Title:
Only Howard Community College’s facilities department employees are authorized to change, modify, or install locks, and duplicate keys for all campus buildings. To request a lock change, a work order must be submitted to the facilities department. Upon receipt of the request, the facilities department will decide the outcome and will notify the requester. Locks and keys requiring service or replacement due to normal wear and tear will be replaced at no charge. Lock and key replacement not due to normal wear and tear is generally charged to the cost center of the area requesting the replacement.
