Technology
- Setting up your student account and email is important, so you are aware of everything happening at HCC.
- Sign up for text alerts here to receive helpful updates on campus events, closures, emergencies, late openings, etc.
Placement
- Placement allows us to assist in planning the right courses for you. Placement by examination
- Send AP/ACT/SAT/high school transcript/CLEP/DSST to admissions@howardcc.edu.
- Sign up for testing if needed.
- Send all previous official college transcripts to: transeval@howardcc.edu
- Fill out Transfer Evaluation Request Form to allow HCC to evaluate all of

Paying for College
- Tuition and Fees
- Complete and return the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Be sure to
include the Howard Community College FAFSA code: 008175. - Tuition Payment Plan
- Pay in full either, online, in-person, or by mail

- Obtain your HCC ID card
- Parking Pass
- A copy of your current schedule
- A valid photo ID (driver’s license, student ID, or other form of picture ID)
- Your vehicle information, including tag number and vehicle description
