Join HoCoPoLitSo and HCC faculty and staff for a day of poetry and artistry at the Blackbird Poetry Festival on Thursday, April 23rd in DH 100! With events throughout the day ranging from writing workshops to an open mic performance to an evening reading and book signing, there is sure to be something for everyone. All events are free to attend for HCC students!
The Nightbird Reading features a poetry reading from artist Sarah Kay, with an introduction by poet Teri Ellen Cross Davis, and a reading from Howard County Youth Poet Laureate Penelope Tofigh followed by a book sale and signing.
