Accommodations Disabilities
HCC is committed to providing an accessible education and supportive learning environment for all students. To help us meet this goal, all students with disabilities who require special accommodations must notify the Division of Continuing Education, in writing, two weeks before their first class begins so that we may make arrangements. All information will be kept confidential.
Services may include advocacy, tutoring, interpreters, note takers, test-taking arrangements, and counseling. Equipment such as the Kurzweil 3000 Reading Machine, Dragon Dictate, Arkenstone Reader, tape recorders, and magnifiers are available.
The accessible entrance on the side of the Athletic and Fitness Center is now equipped with a door that requires a special card for entry. If you would like to request an access card to that door because you require special accommodations, please notify the Division of Continuing Education, in writing, two weeks before the first class so that we can arrange suitable accommodation. The Athletic and Fitness Center will provide a special access card that is valid until the class ends. The access card must be returned at the end of the class. There is a $25 fee if the card is lost.
