Attend Summer Bash and enter to win a Financial Aid Services Scholarship!
- One grand prize scholarship valued at $2,500

Rules to enter:
- Attend Summer Bash on August 13, between noon and 2:30 p.m.
- Sign in at the welcome table.
- Must be registered for a minimum of 3 credit hours in the Fall 2026 term by August 19.
- Visit ScholarshipUniverse and log in using your HCC email address and password. After answering all available matching questions and submit all available applications by August 19. Check Scholarship Universe often throughout the academic year for additional opportunities!

- Scholarships are awarded for the 2026-2027 academic year, and split evenly between the Fall 2026 and Winter/Spring 2027 terms.
- Recipients will be drawn on Friday, August 21. A list of winners may be obtained after August 28 at Financial Aid Services.
- Winners will be able to view the scholarship in their self-service account on Monday, August 24.
All students are eligible to win if they attended Summer Bash, sign into the event, and complete the general scholarship application in Scholarship Universe by Wednesday, August 19. HCC employees and “custom class” registrations are not eligible. Odds of winning will be determined by the number of entries. The nine winners will be chosen at random. All prizes will be awarded. Scholarships will be applied to the 2026-2027 year, with the funds split equally across the fall and the winter/spring terms. The scholarships will apply toward any remaining balance on the student winners’ accounts after all other aid is applied. While recipients must be registered for classes and the funds may only be used to pay for tuition and fees, no additional purchase is necessary to enter the drawing. A list of winners may be obtained after August 28 at Financial Aid Services. Winners will be able to view the scholarship in their self-service account on Monday, August 24.
