
Registered DSS Students
At the start of each semester, students will use AIM to send Letters of Accommodation to their instructors. Students are responsible for submitting the letter requests, and accommodations are not applied to a course until these letters are sent. Accommodations cannot be applied retroactively.
Accessing and Sending Your Letter of Accommodation
Log in to AIM to submit a request for your Letter of Accommodation ("memo"). Select the class(es) you want to request accommodations for.
- If prompted, complete the authorization and any other E-form agreements related to your accommodations.
- Select “Step 2 – Continue to Customize Your Accommodation.” Then, use the checkboxes to customize the accommodations for each class. To review your approved accommodations, click the My Eligibility tab in AIM.
- Complete your request by clicking “Submit Your Accommodation Requests.” AIM will send the email containing your Letter of Accommodation to your instructors for each selected class. A copy of your Letter of Accommodation will also be sent to your HCC email address.
- Allow 48 hours for you and your instructors to receive the Letter of Accommodation.
