
How To Obtain a Student ID and Parking Pass
Instructions for individuals coming to campus to obtain a student ID and/or parking pass
To obtain or update an ID the following items are required:
- Official schedule (can be obtained from the Welcome Center or Registration)
- Photo ID (i.e. State issued, High School ID Card)
To obtain or update an parking pass the following items are required:
- License #
- Make and model of the car
- Color of the car

- Student ID’s get new stickers in the Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer semesters
- Workforce, Career, and Community Education students are encouraged to obtain a college identification card. Students only enrolled in personal enrichment and youth courses are not eligible. To obtain an ID card, bring proof of enrollment and a valid photo ID to the Department of Public Safety in the RCF building.
- Must have an official schedule and photo ID to get a student ID
- Photo can be updated every 2 years
- HCC will not permit an ID Photo to significantly alter, hide or enhance their face or facial features by the use or excessive use of:
- Face paint
- Cosmetics
- Cosmetic contacts
- Facial contortions
- Hats/Scarves/Other clothing
- Hands, etc.
- If a supervisor deems it necessary, the student will be required to remove the unacceptable face paint, cosmetics, etc. before a photo is taken
- Students receive 1 ID card and are not to have multiple Student ID cards
- Parking Passes are valid August – August
- Parking Passes are valid to park in only spaces not designated for handicap, staff or reserved parking
Please note: IDs are available on a walk-in basis Monday-Friday from 9am-8pm.
