Testing Information for Professional Certifications

The Test Center provides access to testing and examination for students and community members seeking professional certifications.

Certification exams are offered year-round, except during certain holidays, peak placement periods, and final exams.

The following certification testing and examination services are available:

Pearson VUE (GED)

The Test Center provides testing for a wide variety of Pearson VUE exams, including the GED, NREMT, Cisco, Amazon Web Services, CompTIA, and others for certification and licensure.

Meazure Learning

Meazure Learning is a provider of high-quality testing services for corporations, government agencies, educational institutions, and trade and professional associations.

Iso-Quality Testing (IQT)

Iso-Quality Testing (IQT) provides secure, user-friendly, high-quality, and reasonably priced computer-based testing for candidates seeking certification from one of the many credentialing bodies around the country that IQT represents.

Certiport Testing
*Remote Certiport testing is no longer available. All Certiport test administration is now on-campus.

Certiport offers certification testing in Adobe Certified Associate (ACA), Autodesk Certified User (ACU), CompTIA Strata, HP Accredited Technical Associate (HPATA), Internet and Computer Core Certification (IC3), Intuit Quickbooks (QBC), Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), and Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA). Microsoft Office Specialist 2019/365 (MOS) is the official Microsoft Office certification for desktop productivity. Certification is available in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Word Expert, and Excel Expert.
- Candidates must register and pay for their exams through Certiport prior to making their appointment.
- To make an appointment to take a Certiport examination, please visit RegisterBlast and choose On Campus Testing. Appointments must be made in advance.
- A $30 proctoring fee is payable directly to the HCC Cashier’s office (room RCF-213) on the second floor of the RCF building. Please present the payment receipt at the time of the exam administration.
