
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Earn Your Class A CDL License with HCC
Howard Community College (HCC), in partnership with North American Trade Schools (NATS), now offers a comprehensive training program to help you earn your Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). This program is designed for individuals with no prior truck driving experience and prepares you for a career in commercial transportation.
You’ll gain classroom knowledge, hands-on skills, and testing readiness to qualify for a wide range of entry-level positions, from local deliveries to long-haul driving. Upon successful completion, you’ll take the CDL exam with a certified Maryland Vehicle Administration (MVA) tester.
Once earned, a Class A CDL license in Maryland is typically valid for eight years.
