Experience Lifelong Learning with OASIS at Howard Community College’s Older Adult Summit
HCC was proud to host OASIS 2026, a four-day seminar series specifically tailored for the older adult community in greater Howard County. Held in early June, the event welcomed over 120 active older adults who participated in the following enriching and thought-provoking seminars, “Oceans of Power: The Past, Present, and Future of Energy Development," "Arts and the Man-from Let Us Sleep Now to Hell No, We Won’t Go!,” “Religious Pluralism in Ancient thru Modern China,” and “The Age of AI: What Everyone Needs to Know Now.” Each day featured a unique theme, delivered by HCC faculty and industry experts who educated, motivated, and empowered participants.
